DNV-Logo  St. Joseph’s Health is accredited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Health Care Inc., the leading accreditor of U.S. hospitals. 



St. Joseph’s Health received formal ISO 9001:2008 certification by DNV. SJH is the third hospital in New Jersey and among 86 in the nation to receive this certification.

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, which includes St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, has been awarded Magnet® recognition as part of the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® -- four consecutive times. Magnet recognition serves as a means for acknowledging peak performance and recognizes extraordinary innovations that transform hospital environments. St. Joseph’s University Medical Center is the only Catholic hospital in the United States to be Magnet® Recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (since 1999) and earn ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management certification from DNV.

American-College--Surgeons-Verified-Trauma-Center St. Joseph’s University Medical Center has received Trauma Center reverification by the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). This achievement recognizes the trauma center's dedication to providing optimal care for injured patients. 
College-of-American-Pathologists Accreditations for the Department of Pathology (Laboratory) include: College of American Pathologists (CAP), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA), Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI).
IAC-Nuclear-Cardiology The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission has accredited the nuclear cardiology department, ultrasound department and the vascular laboratory.
ACR-Radiology St. Joseph's is accredited by The American College of Radiology for radiology services and equipment.
ACGME Anesthesiology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Pediatric Residencies, Cardiovascular Disease, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Interventional Cardiology and Pulmonary, are accredited by The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
ada General Dentistry and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery are accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA).


The Emergency Medicine and General Surgery programs are accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
